Salvation Army Christmas benefit concert held

'The Monday Nights', a new local and recently-formed praised Christian band, performed recently for free to the community in the chapel of the Tamaqua Salvation Army to raise donations for the Tamaqua Salvation Army.

In addition to holiday songs, children played a number of music interactive games and received prizes for playing. Cookies, refreshments and other holiday goodies were also provided to all the guests via the Salvation Army.The audience also enjoyed solo performances by Brittany, 19, and Shaylin, 15, Clouser. Band guitarist/vocalist Rodney Clouser said, "The Salvation Army helped our family growing up, and this is a chance to give back."
