Nesquehoning police reported on several arrests made by officers in recent days.

Chief Sean Smith arrested Gerald Paulley Jr., of 22827 Camp Arrowhead Road, Lewis, Del., on a five count felony warrant issued by the Delaware state police. Paulley was wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony; two counts of aggravated menacing, auto theft and terroristic threats.Paulley was found at 65 W. Ridge St. by Smith and later arraigned before District Judge Edward Lewis, of Jim Thorpe. Bail was set at $20,000 straight cash and Paulley was committed to the county prison awaiting extradition back to Delaware.Smith filed charges of retail theft against Jennifer Kocela, of 17 W. Bertsch St., Lansford, for an incident at Redner's Warehouse Market. Kocela allegedly took a bottle of Equaline vitamins worth $5.99 without paying for it.Officer Carl Breiner charged Keith A. Johnson, of 171 Mountain View Rd., Jim Thorpe, with retail theft for an incident at the Turkey Hill Store on Catawissa St. The incident occurred on Sept. 13 when Johnson allegedly took property valued at $5.17 from the store.Breiner filed the following charges against Shaimar Williams, 16 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. Two counts of driving under the influence (DUI) and one count of careless driving. The incident occurred on Aug. 23 along E. Mill St. Williams' vehicle hit a parked car. He submitted to a blood test that revealed he had a .16BAC.Officer Timothy Wuttke filed a citation against Marianne Smith, 349 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, for failure to pay her sanitation bill from January through June, totaling $188.40.Wuttke issued a citation to Daniel Tristani, 1165 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, for a delinquent sanitation bill from February through June totaling $162.Wuttke filed misdemeanor charges against Valerie Williams, 12 E. Kline Ave., Lansford, and Andre Morales, 125 W. Railroad St., for an incident that occurred at Morales' residence on Sept. 11 which was a dispute over custody of their minor child.During a confrontation obscene language was used along with racial slurs, it is alleged. Williams was charged with harassment and two counts of disorderly conduct while Morales was charged with two counts each of persistent disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct and one count of harassment.
