An American Red Cross Bloodmobile is scheduled for this week in Tamaqua, just as the nation is faced with a critical shortage in the blood supply. The demand for lifesaving blood products doesn't decrease in the hot summer months, although the number of donors can decrease due to scheduled vacations, etc.

The bloodmobile will be in the Tamaqua Salvation Army gym, from 1 to 6 p.m. this Wednesday. This visit is being sponsored by Marion Fetterman of Professional Massage Therapy.
