Nicole Dubosky Thomas and James Adam Dunn were united in marriage on Oct. 10, 2015, at Mountain Valley Golf Course in Barnesville. The Rev. Preston Broadhurst officiated the double ring ceremony.

The daughter of Gar and Kim Thomas of Lake Hauto, the bride was given in marriage by her parents. She chose Samantha Capita to be her matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Stephanie Dunbar, Shelby Hankins, Lauren Fedor, Megan Amey and Rachel Rega. Flower girls were Faith Dunn, Hailey Dunn and Ava Dunn.

Misericordia University, Dallas, recently recognized six students in the doctor of physical therapy program for going above and beyond their required course load.

Six third-year DPT students completed certification in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment BIG, a specialty program designed to train rehabilitation therapists in an evidence-based treatment approach for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders.

Students include Kaitlyn Wisser of Saylorsburg and Cailin McCullion of Nesquehoning.

Brandon Mazepa of Palmerton earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from Cabrini College, Radnor, during the college’s 55th commencement exercises, which were held on May 17.

Laura Cinicola of West Penn Township has graduated cum laude from Lycoming College in Williamsport. She received a bachelor of art degree in photography and commercial design. She is a 2011 graduate of Marian Catholic High School.

Janieva Mallory of Jim Thorpe was named to the 2015 spring semester dean’s list at Simmons College in Boston. Her major is philosophy.

To qualify for dean’s list status, undergraduate students must obtain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on 12 or more credit hours of work in classes using the letter grade system.

Channing Shiffert of Slatington was named to the dean’s list at Cabrini College, Radnor, for the spring academic year.

Dean’s list students have achieved a GPA of 3.5-3.89 for coursework completed at Cabrini College with a minimum of 15 credits.

Palmerton High School Class of 1985 will hold its 30-year class reunion from 6 to 11 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Sokol Hall in Palmerton.

Tickets are $30, and include dinner, beer, beverages, and entertainment. Bring your own bottle.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morgan

Robert and Margaret Morgan of Walnutport in Lehigh Township, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on July 30, 1955.

The Morgans renewed their vows recently at St. Nicholas Church in Berlinsville. The Rev. Edward McElduff and the Rev. Thomas Druzack were the celebrants of the Mass.

Robert was the manager of the former Acme Store in Slatington. He could also be found taking pictures at the Northern Lehigh football games.

Margaret worked at the former Dee-ville Blouse Co. until retiring after 37 years.
