Members of the Tamaqua High School Drama Club will be presenting two performances of "Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella" at the Tamaqua Middle School auditorium this Friday and Saturday starting at 7 p.m.

Janet Smoldon, Tamaqua High School Drama Club adviser, pointed out that these students have worked very hard on this and encourages the community to come and enjoy either of the two showings.

Heritage Hill Senior Community will host its 10th annual Senior Health Fair at the Laurel Mall in Hazleton on April 13, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This is an opportunity to receive free health screenings and important information from local services. There will also be prizes and giveaways.

Fasting for the blood sugar and cholesterol screenings is recommended but not required.

There will be a Tai Chi and Qi Gong demonstration at 10:30 a.m., compliments of the Wellness Center.

Lucas David Mongi

MA son, Lucas David Mongi, was born on Dec. 31, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown, to Jaimie and Joseph Mongi of Lehighton. He weighed 3 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 16 inches long.

He is the couple's first child.

Maternal grandparents are David and Elizabeth Rush of Trexlertown.

Paternal grandparents are Daryl and Karen Mongi of Lehighton.

Maternal great-grandparents are Selma and the late Allen Kubista, Trexlertown.

Additional casting calls have been added for Carbon Schuylkill Community Theater's Spring 2011 production.

Auditions are being held on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. at 211 West Ridge St. in Lansford, and on Tuesday, April 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Studio, 257 East Ridge St., also in Lansford.

CSCT's Spring 2011 production is a series of short plays slated for public performance on the evenings of May 13 and 14 at the Flow restaurant in Jim Thorpe.
