Mary Jane and Elwood Blocker of Lehighton are celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary. They were married May 27, 1950, at St. Mark's Church in Jim Thorpe.

Mrs. Miller is the former Mary Jane Miller, daughter of the late Mary and Harold Miller of Jim Thorpe. Her husband is the son of the late Ella and Elmer Blocker of Lehighton.The Blockers have a daughter, Tina Blocker of Lehighton, and a son, Jerome Blocker of Jim Thorpe. They have five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.The couple will renew their vows on their anniversary at 2 p.m. at home with their daughter, a minister, officiating. A reception will follow at 4 p.m. at Cousin's Restaurant in Mahoning Township. The times are significant as they are the exact time the couple originally celebrated their wedding and reception.
