The next meeting of the Carbon County Art League will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. June 14 and will be hosted by The Green Leaf Gallery, 121B Berwick St., Beaver Meadows.

The public is welcome to join members as they tour the gallery and enjoy the collection of art on display. Anyone interested in carpooling should meet at 5 p.m. in the parking lot of The Seventh Moon Spa, 701 Bridge St., Lehighton. The event is free to the public.The art league's first "Paint and Sip To Support the Arts" will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 12 at The Seventh Moon Spa in Lehighton. The painting will be a wolf howling at the moon. Wayne Yurchak will be the instructor. No experience is necessary.The feeincludes the 9-by-12-inch canvas, paints, brushes and instructions. The event is BYOB.
