Monroe burglary, mischief probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary in Monroe County and an act of criminal mischief in Carbon County.

The break-in occurred in the 2500 block ofAllegheny Drive, Blakeslee, Chestnuthill Township. Someone used a tool to pry open a rear window. Once inside they removed a BB gun, paintball gun, plastic wagon and a Panasonic camera. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 2 and 5. The property is owned bya Fairfield, New Jersey, man.A resident of Dillon Way, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, reported that someone threw a rock through his front sliding glass door shattering it. The incident was reported around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
