Retail theft charges

A number of people are facing charges in relation to recent shoplifting incidents.

Rush Township Police are preparing to file charges against the following for thefts at the HT Commons Walmart in Hometown:• Stephanie McEntee, 38, of Shenandoah, who took merchandise valued at $436 at 7:03 p.m. on June 14.• Roxanne Sabia, 35, of Hazle Township, who took goods worth $649 at 9:01 p.m. on June 16 and $119.99 in merchandise on June 25.• Joel Vermillion, 26, of Tamaqua, who stole $34.96 in merchandise at 2:15 p.m. on June 17.• David Mussler, 31, of Coal Township, who took $851.62 worth of merchandise from the retailer at 5:21 p.m. on June 21.• Connie Mertz, 56, of Lansford, who stole merchandise valued at $96.78 on June 23.All will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.State police at Fern Ridge said Jessica Lynn Colombraro, 24, of Kunkletown, took $47 worth of merchandise from Weis store in Brodheadsville at 6:27 p.m. on June 2. Charges have been filed.
