Tamaqua Borough work crews will continue removing snow banks from the streets tonight, Wednesday. Operations will begin at 10 p.m.

The following streets are scheduled for removal tonight: Hunter, Broad to Orwigsburg; Hunter and Broad Streets parking lot; Spruce and Hunter Streets parking lot; Washington, Elm to Lafayette; Pine, Broad to end.

On Thursday, the following streets will be cleared, beginning at 10 a.m.: Orwigsburg, Hunter to Coal; Union, Market to end; Hazle, Greenwood to Elizabeth.

Streets scheduled to be done during the night on Thursday, beginning at 10 p.m., are: Spruce, Center to Lehigh; Rowe, Berwick to Lehigh; Greenwood, Mountain Avenue to Willing Street.

Friday's daytime schedule will include: Arlington, Greenwood to Laurel; Willing, Greenwood to Clarke.

Friday night, beginning at 10 p.m., the schedule includes: Broad, both sides, railroad tracks near Turkey Hill to former Maff Motors; Lehigh, Broad to Elm; Lafayette, Washington to Catawissa.

Streets will be posted in advance. Any vehicle not moved by one hour before the start times will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

Schedules are subject to change depending on work schedules and weather conditions.
