One out of three American adults has pre-diabetes, and most of them don't know it. Could you be one of the them?

Blue Mountain Health System will offer two information sessions as part of its "National Diabetes Prevention Program."The first will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gnaden Huetten campus, 211 N. 12th St., Lehighton, in the community room on the ground floor.The second program will be held from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria at the Palmerton campus, 217 Franklin Ave., Palmerton.Susan Generose, the health system's certified diabetes educator, will discuss the program and how the national program can help create a lifestyle that can help prevent or delay Type 2 diabetes.
