A father and son were arrested after an argument escalated into a minor physical altercation, state police at the Frackville barracks said.

Stephen Joseph Bolish, 54, and his son, Stephen Michael, 23, will have to answer charges of harassment police filed against them in the office of Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker, police said.Police were beckoned at 1:30 a.m. Friday to the residence of the defendants at 112 Roosevelt Drive, Village of Morea, for a reported domestic disturbance. Police said they learned the two became involved in the verbal argument after the father brought cigarettes home with him, after which time the incident turned physical.
