Tamaqua Police have cited Jason Jeremy Dahm, 37, of 732 Broad St., Tuscarora, after an incident at a private parking lot on Jan. 28.

An officer was on patrol at 1:10 p.m. that day when he saw Dahm in a blue Chevrolet truck that was parked in a private spot on the Spruce and Hunter streets parking lot.Approaching the truck to give Dahm a parking ticket, the officer saw a black zipper case on the passenger side seat. The case was partially open, making the orange capped syringes plainly visible. Dahm admitted the case and its contents were his.The items were confiscated. They included 11 syringes, five empty packets, a cut straw and numerous cotton swabs.Dahm was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
