The United Presbyterian Church, 6750 Route 873 Slatington, is holding a "57th Annual Gymanfa Ganu" (Welsh Hymn Sing) on Nov. 8. The program will begin at 2:30 p.m. and is open to everyone.

The conductor is Ellis Williams from Bangor. The organist is Robert Miller from South Portland, Maine, and the pianist is Anna Mary Milot, choir director and organist of the Slatington Presbyterian Church.Special music will be by the "Tri-Cees Chorale" out of the Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville. The music is sung mostly in English and some Welsh, for those who are able.An expanded "Te Bach" (Welsh Tea) will follow the program. A freewill offering is taken to help defray expenses.
