On June 27, Willard and Dorothy Creitz of Lehighton celebrated their 90th birthday with a surprise picnic hosted by their daughter Joan and son-in-law Russell at their residence in Lehighton.

Seventy family and friends attended the celebration. Willard turned 90 on May 11 and Dorothy turned 90 on July 20.Willard is the son of the late Daniel and Grace Creitz of Lehighton. He is a retired worker from Bethlehem Steel.Dorothy is the daughter of the late George and Susan Neff of Palmerton. She is a retired garment worker.They are the grandparents of Sherry, wife of Michael Rose and great-grandparents of Emily and Bennet Rose, all of Coplay.Willard is the last living member of his immediate family. Dorothy has one sister, Diane Snyder of Palmerton, and two brothers, Franklin Neff of Parryville and Ronald Neff of Lehighton. In addition they have nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.Willard and Dorothy are active members of All Saints Episcopal Church in Lehighton.Willard enjoys working in his yard, while Dorothy loves going to bingo each week.Because they both enjoy playing the lottery, their family and friends presented them with a lottery tree which contained many tickets.
