The Carbon County Environmental Education Center is planning an open house event for Sunday between 1 and 4 p.m.

This will be a chance for the entire family to check out what's new around the center. The event is free.There will be various fun and educational activities for kids and adults. Live animals and tours of the grounds for all ages will take place throughout the day. The events will give visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what a typical day at the center is like.This event will give visitors a chance to meet the staff and check out the "Old Wives' Tales" station.Refreshments and a basket raffle fundraiser round out the day's activities.For more information call 570-645-8597.
