St. John United Church of Christ, on Pine Street in Tamaqua, held its third in a series of monthlong dedication services for its new church. This morning's Homecoming Service was attended by 485 people and was followed by a banquet, attended by 425.
Miss Annie Stein was honored as the congregant with the longest continuous membership, having been confirmed in the church in 1896.Paul H. Miller served as the master of ceremonies.
