A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle whose driver then fled the scene but was later located and is facing a driving under the influence charge.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident occurred at 3:20 a.m. Feb. 14, along Route 940 near the Ray Price Chevrolet lot. Police responded to the scene to a report of a pedestrian struck.On scene the injured person was identified as Steven Donadio, 24, of Pocono Pines. He was flown by helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, for further evaluation, police said.The driver who struck Donadio fled the scene but was later located at his home. He was identified as Julian Aguila, 22, of Tobyhanna. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the county prison for suspicion of DUI.
