A man trying to get someone else's attention attracted the attention of McAdoo Police on Sunday afternoon.

It was 12:26 p.m. when officers saw a man throwing rocks at a window of a home on South Kennedy Drive. They approached the rock thrower and identified him as Moises Pichardo, 28, of McAdoo.Pichardo told the officer he was trying to get the attention of someone in the apartment building. A records check found an active warrant for Pichardo's arrest, issued by Luzerne County authorities.He was arrested on the warrant and searched for possible contraband or weapons. Officers found five bags of heroin.He was transported to the Luzerne County Prison on the warrant and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance.
