Woman faces multiple charges

A Tamaqua woman was arrested by Rush Township police three times this month.

Crystal Milner, 28, was cited on Sept. 7 in connection with the 5:27 p.m. theft of 13 cans of baby formula from the HT Commons Wal-Mart. The formula was valued at $200.98. Also cited at the time was Megan Hill, 24, of Tamaqua, who stole 32 cans of baby formula, valued at $494.72. Both face charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.At 10:05 a.m. on Sept. 9, Milner took another six cans of formula, valued at $108.22, from Wal-Mart. She will be charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy to commit theft. Conspiracy charges will also be filed against George Cope, 27, of Reading, in connection with this incident.Then, on Sept. 19, police made a vehicle stop at 1:59 a.m. on Claremont Avenue. Inside the vehicle they found Milner and Jacob Bynon, 33, of Tamaqua, along with numerous items reportedly stolen from a Wal-Mart in Hazle Township, Luzerne County.Milner also had a needle and a bottle containing eight Clonidine pills, while Bynon had six needles in his possession.Both face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property. Milner will also be charged with possession of a controlled substance.
