Area cross country teams post sweeps

The Lehighton and Jim Thorpe boys, along with the Tamaqua girls, all earned sweeps in cross country action on Wednesday.

CROSS COUNTRYBlue Mt.-CMVT-LehightonLehighton swept Blue Mountain and Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech in the boys meet, then split the girls meet getting a win over CMVT in a Schuylkill League meet.The Indian boys beat the Eagles 25-32 and CMVT 22-39, with Michael Blacketter of the Indians finishing in 18:24 for third.
