Mahoning Township Police have charged a Parryville woman with theft after they said she donned a jacket and concealed merchandise inside of it.

Police said the loss prevention department at Walmart contacted them on Sept. 15 and reported two females had put jackets on that the store was offering for sale, and they then concealed additional merchandise under the jackets.The women later purchased other merchandise but failed to pay for the jackets, and other concealed items valued at $93.As a result of the investigation Jean Strubeck of Parryville has been charged with retail theft, criminal conspiracy-retail theft and possession of a small amount of marijuana.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 19.Police have not released details about the other woman.
