The article about climate change, written by Ellen Powell, published in the Times News on Sept. 29, proves how ignorant and arrogant the "climate changers" really are.Global Warming/Climate Change/Climate Disruption is one of the greatest "political" frauds of all time. Scientists in the U.K. admitted they "fixed" the data to get the "desired" results. This proves that climate change is all about politics and has nothing to do with science.Patrick Michaels is the director of the Cato Institute's Center for the Study of Science. He has a doctorate in ecological climatology. He was a contributing editor to the United Nation's second Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report. According to him, there is no evidence of "global warming" for the past 18 years.He quotes a study done by the University of Illinois Polar Ice Research Center. "Antarctic ice is at its highest extent measured by current microwave satellite surrounding systems since 1978." He also says, "If you take a close look at Arctic data, it appears the decline (in polar ice) stopped around 2005-2006. This means we've almost had 10 years without any net loss in Arctic ice."The rising water in Florida is being blamed on climate change. When you drain a swamp and built on it, it is only a matter of time before Mother Nature returns. All plant life feeds on CO2. Burn some coal and oil feed the forests!Michael S. RotherTamaqua
