A Monroe County man has been charged with the illegal use of fireworks.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred along Aspen Road in Polk Township.Troopers said neighbors of David Cullen of Kunkletown complained that he was using fireworks in his backyard for several days, over a period from July 11-13.The investigation revealed that he had been asked numerous times by his neighbors to cease using the fireworks but refused. Troopers said he did not have a permit for the fireworks.He was charged with illegal use of fireworks and disorderly conduct.
