Nuisance snows continue

If you think it's been snowing a lot this year, you're right.

Dan Pydynowski, meteorologist with Accuweather said the weather staton in Mount Pocono has registered 13 days of snow out of 22 calendar days this month.In Allentown, the weather station recorded seven days with at least some snowfall.The snowfall amounts have been relatively light. "We've had a lot of small events," Pydynowski said.Tuesday was no exception. The storm hit south of our region, with most of our region getting just a few inches.The story for the rest of the week is bitter cold air. Temperatures were below zero throughout the region this morning and will only hit the teens in the next few days.Pydynowski said the normal high temperature for this time of year is 36 degrees in Allentown and 31 in Mount Pocono."We'll be 15 to 20 degrees below normal," he said.
