Salary, personnel matters addressed

Carbon County officials set employee salaries for the year during the recent annual salary board meeting.

Salaries for all positions except row office holders are included in related stories.In addition to setting salaries, the board also made the following changes to a number of positions.Court administrationChanged the rate of one department clerk III from $11.26 per hour, to $11.59 per hour, effective Feb. 3.Domestic relationsChanged the rate of one department clerk I from $10.31 per hour, to $10.62 per hour, effective Jan. 6.Bureau of CollectionsChanged the rate of one collection clerk II from $11.04 per hour, to $10.72 per hour, effective Jan. 17.Fiscal/Data ProcessingChanged the rate of one part-time fiscal/data processing technician from $11.04 per hour, to $10.72 per hour, effective Jan. 10.District AttorneyAbolished the position of one third assistant district attorney at $38,000 per year, retroactive to Jan. 1.SheriffEstablished the position of one chief real estate clerk trainee at $11.81 per hour, effective Jan. 5.Animal shelterChanged the rate of three part-time K-9 officers from $8.82 per hour, to $9.26 per hour, retroactive to Jan. 1.ParksChanged the rate of seven seasonal park rangers I from $12.67 per hour, to $11.26 per hour, retroactive to Jan. 1.Changed the rate of three seasonal park rangers II from $11.27 per hour, to $9.72 per hour, retroactive to Jan. 1.Planning and DevelopmentChanged the salary of one project coordinator from $32,377.80 per year, to $33,342.40 per year, effective Jan. 6.Changed the rate of one administrative assistant from $18.57 per hour, to $19.13 per hour, effective Jan. 6.
