A man escaped injury Monday morning when involved in a crash along Route 895 in East Penn Township. The driver was west bound at 8:30 a.m. when he encountered a large area of black ice. He slid for a distance before laying his Jeep Grand Cherokee on its side in a private drive way of a home. East Penn Township police are investigating the incident.
