Destroyed business cited

A Monroe County restaurant, which was destroyed by fire during the early morning hours of July 27, has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Luna Rossa, of 1034 Interchange Road in Gilbert, was cited for a violation that occurred on June 26. The business was cited for sold, furnished and/or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor. The citation was issued on July 30.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious one.
