MaryD man facing several charges

A MaryD man has been cited for illegally using another man's credit card in Tamaqua. The incidents took place on June 28.

The victim contacted Tamaqua police on June 29 after he realized his wallet was missing. According to the report he had left it in his unlocked vehicle, which had been parked on Railroad Street between 8 and 10:30 a.m. on June 28. After checking with his bank he discovered that his bank card had been used to make seven unauthorized purchases two at Mountain Tobacco, one each at Domino's Pizza and the Family Dollar Store and two at Fegley's Mini Mart, all in Tamaqua.Video surveillance footage from the businesses led police to David C. Miller Jr., 24, of 65 Sunny Drive. Miller was charged with credit card fraud, theft by deception, and receiving stolen property.
