A Treskow woman was cited by McAdoo police following a traffic stop in the borough on May 28.

Cassie Zapotocky, 20, was driving a blue Ford Taurus on East Sherman Street at 3:46 a.m. when she caught the attention of Patrolman William Curilla, who noticed she failed to use a turn signal, several times. When the officer initiated a traffic stop he noticed a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and her eyes appeared to be glassie. She admitted to drinking one shot of alcohol but failed the sobriety tests she took.She was cited for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and underage drinking.
