State police at Lehighton are investigating sexual assault incidents.

Troopers said the victim is a 9-year-old female from Kunkletown, and the sexual assaults occurred during a time frame of 1999 to 2008, along Upper 57 Road, in Kunkletown, Eldred Township, Monroe County.Troopers said the susupect is a 28-year-old male from Kunkletown. The investigation is ongoing, troopers added. No other details were released by police.
