OLOAA Kindergarten, first grade classes publish books

The kindergarten and first grade classes of Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, has taken on the task of becoming published authors.

With the help of studentpublishing.com the kindergarten class published its first book in September, inspired by the International Day of Peace. In the book, each student wrote about what peace means to them, complete with illustrations.More recently the students were able to talk about themselves with a book published in December titled "The Best Part Of Me."The book was a final project after discussing how they are each unique individuals with special gifts to offer the world.The kindergarten students are very excited to have their words in print and look forward to publishing another book in February.In the first grade class's book titled "Gifts for the Savior," the students wrote about and illustrated gifts they would give to Jesus if they were there when he was born.The class is very proud of its work and excited to be published authors. The students look forward to learning more about the writing process and publishing another book in the future.
