State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary and criminal mischief incident that occurred at a storage building located at 186 W. Grand Ave., in Porter Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said unknown criminals gained entry to the building on the south side by kicking in an exterior door. Once inside they went to the second floor and forced open another door causing damages.Upon leaving, the criminals caused scratches to a vehicle parked outside. The building owner was identified as Arthur Clark, 61, and the vehicle owner, Kimberly Merwine, 37, both of Tower City. Troopers did not indicate if anything was taken in the break-in.The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 18.
