State police at Lehighton discovered a Palmerton man to be under the influence during a traffic stop conducted for vehicle code violations.

Harry Clemore Johnson, 67, was traveling on SR248 in Franklin Township, Carbon County, at 11:27 p.m. Aug. 19, when the traffic stop occurred. He is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).
