ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Just over 100 Tamaqua Area band members took part in the Tamaqua High School Music Department's Annual Spring Concert held Thursday evening in the Tamaqua Area School District's auditorium. Directed under Mark E. Beltz, the concert was comprised of the department's Wind Ensemble, The 'Raider' Jazz Band and The 'Raider' Concert Band. Awards and recognizations were also presented to various students during the concert. Beltz also thanked the Tamaqua Board of Education, administration, faculty and staff; as well as all the band members, parents, friends, volunteers and relatives for their tireless efforts with the music program.
