Pleasant Valley senior Rob Getz will continue his academic and football career at Widener University.

Getz was a three-year member of the Bears' varsity where he played running back, defensive back and also returned punts and kickoffs.During his senior season, Getz led Pleasant Valley in rushing (155 carries, 990 yards); receiving (31 catches, 403 yards); and scoring (15 touchdowns, 90 points).Getz was named to the TIMES NEWS and Mountain Valley Conference All-Star teams and was Pleasant Valley's Scholar-Athlete winner. He set school records for rushing yards, receiving yards, receptions and touchdowns in a career in careerIn addition to football, Getz plays varsity basketball and baseball at Pleasant Valley. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and German Honor Society.He is the son of Susan and Robert Getz and plans to major in Civil Engineering at Widener.
