Pastor Bill Ellsworth and his wife, Shirley, of Schnecksville came to Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville, in mid-October. He was a chaplain at Phoebe Home in Allentown. Ellsworth said it is different from pastoring a church because he had to be available 24 hours a day. Phoebe has 450 residents and 450 on staff. After retirement there he spent time pastoring at Faith United in Allentown, Christ Church in Jim Thorpe and St. Paul's Church in Summit Hill.
