Swatara State Park hike planned

Robin Tracey and conservation volunteer Dave McSurdy have planned a hike at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, along the fossil bed along Swatara Creek. The hike is four miles long and moderate in difficulty. Those who plan to hike should meet at the parking lot on Swopes Valley Road, Suedberg. Bring a lunch or snacks. Call Robin at 570-467-2506 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for more information or weather conditions. This is a dog friendly hike, but all pets must be leashed and get along with other pets and people. Shine only.
