Mahoning Township police closed Upper Nis Hollow road late Tuesday morning after a branch of a tree fell onto power lines. The incident occurred about a half mile east of Mountain road. Mahoning Valley and East Penn fire companies responded to the scene. At times the trees were afire with flames very visible. The road was closed for two hours.
