Bradley M. Shomper of Tower City sustained injuries in a one-vehicle crash Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m. on State Route 325 in Porter Township, Schuylkill County, according to state police at the Schuylkill haven barracks.

Police said he was transported to the Hershey medical Center by the Tower City-Porter Township Area EMS after he had to be extracted from the vehicle by members of the Orwin and Nuir Fire Department.Police said he was driving a 2008 Hummer H3 northbound when it exited the roadway, struck a sign and a utility pole before coming to rest in a field area located off the west berm. The vehicle was severely damaged.Police said summary charges will be filed against the operator.
