                aleibenguth@tnonline.comMore than a hundred children took part in the 2nd Annual Community Halloween Party held recently at the Tamaqua YMCA.The event consisted of DJ music, food, games, dance and costume contests.Ryan Smith, 10, won the youth costume contest while Bridgette Holland and her three children, Kayla, 12, Khalid, 10, and Brendyn, 7, won the best costume in the family category.Tom Cara, costume judge and YMCA board member, and Nick Zigmant, executive director, Tamaqua YMCA, stated their appreciation to all the volunteers who helped put this event together.For more information about future events or to help with future functions, call Zigmant at (570) 668-2903 or via Facebook.
