Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Dirnberger of West Penn Township celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a cruise from Italy to Turkey. The couple was married May 3, 1986.

The two-week cruise, taken this summer, included stops in Athens and Turkey, where they spent several days touring Istanbul, Kusadasi and the Ruins of Ephesus.They also visited the Greek Islands of Mykonos and Santorini. On the return trip, visits were made to Naples, the Ruins of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.Mrs. Dirnberger is the former Elinor Potosky, daughter of the late John and Regina (Gibas) Potosky of Tamaqua.Dr. Dirnberger is the son of Mary (Paslawsky) Dirnberger of Coaldale and the late Paul Dirnberger.Now semi-retired, he practiced family medicine in Tamaqua for 30 years.
