At least one person was injured Monday afternoon when involved in a collision in East Brunswick Township. The crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of SR895 and Wintergreen road between a car and a pickup truck. It appeared the driver of the car was transported to an area hospital after being treated by members of the New Ringgold ambulance and Pottsville paramedics. SR895 was reduced to one lane at the scene of the crash. Responding were the Community Fire Company of New Ringgold and the Orwigsburg Fire and Rescue. After impact the car came to rest against a utility pole along the east berm while the pickup truck came to rest across the east bound lane of SR895. State police are investigating the incident.
