Mary A. Labert, a member of McAdoo Borough Council, was sworn in as president of the Pennsylvania Borough Councils Association, an affiliate of the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs. Lewistown Mayor Deborah Bargo, right, conducted the swearing in ceremonies, which took place during the PBCA's 100 Annual Conference in Hershey. The PBCA assists council members in networking and building leadership skills to better perform their council duties and help ensure their communities will be stronger and more vibrant places to live.
