A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 4:48 p.m. on Nov. 29 along the Burma Road in Ryan Township.

State police at Frackville said David Kostura, 36, of Pottsville, was operating a side by side utility vehicle and failed to stop when troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop.

Kostura was eventually stopped and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. A breath test was conducted at the Frackville barracks. Troopers said Kostura will be charged with DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude police and several summary all-terrain vehicle violations.
