Coaldale police are looking for William Ashmore of 105 West Moser Ave., Coaldale. Ashmore was stopped at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in an area of the borough that has been receiving complaints of vehicles being spray painted at night.

Officer Jeremy Talanca was questioning Ashmore, who became more and more aggressive and started resisting the officer while he was told he was under arrest.Talanca did place one handcuff on Ashmore, but while they were on the ground, Ashmore slipped away from Talanca and took off on foot through backyards in the area. A search of the area along with the assistance of other police departments showed no sign of him. A record check does show a Carbon County warrant out on Ashmore.Anyone who knows Ashmore's whereabouts is asked to call Coaldale police at (570) 645-3060.
