The fall gathering of the Carbon County Republican Club was held last night at the East Penn Sporting Club. Guest speakers include, l-r, Doyle Heffley, candidate for state representative; MaryEllen Salerno, party chairman; Dan Meuser, representing the office of gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett; Peter Towey, representing Tooney for Senate; and Mike Sofranko, vice chairman of the Carbon Republican party. Also speaking was Joe Barletta, candidate for the U.S. Congress.
