Jim Thorpe police are investigating two burglaries that occurred recently.

On Saturday, May 8, officers were called to the Asa Packer Mansion where a storage building was found entered.The incident occurred sometime between May 1 and the discovery date. Nothing appeared to have been taken.The second break-in occurred in the 100 block of W. Broadway. Sometime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, a residence was entered and medication was taken.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call police at (570) 325-4995.
