The Slippery Salamanders from Weatherly Elementary School took the first place prize during the 2010 fourth and fifth grade (Explorers division) Envirothon, held at the Carbon County Environmental Education Center in Summit Hill on Tuesday. The team scored 448. Members of the Slippery Salamanders are front, sitting on rock, from left, Dana Weiss and Keith Gunderman.
