A Tamaqua woman was cited on May 7 after she was found sleeping it off on a porch on Mauch Chunk Street.

Police were dispatched to 44 Mauch Chunk St. at 11:35 p.m., where they found Joann Faust, 55, of 336 Reilly Ave., in a highly intoxicated condition. After they woke her, officers convinced Faust to accept a ride to her home.She was cited for public drunkenness.
